Garrick Tsui is the Senior Vice President of Risk Solutions & Investigations in the firm’s Washington, DC area office.  He has more than 35 years of experience as a federal investigator and a consultant in the private sector.  His expertise includes internal investigations, fraud investigations, due diligence inquiries, opposition research matters and corruption cases.  He advises clients with proactive risk management by providing critical facts and analysis.  


Prior to joining RSI, he was co-founder of a consulting firm advising hedge funds, a Managing Director of Citigate Global Intelligence and Security, an international investigative firm.  He was a Director in the Washington, D.C. office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, in the investigative practice, where he was responsible for managing large inquiries, overseeing staff and generating business.  Earlier, he was the Director of Special Projects in the Office of the Chairman of The Investigative Group International (IGI).  In that capacity, he was responsible for client development and managing large and complex investigations. He also managed IGI’s Washington, D.C. office.   


Mr. Tsui’s government experience includes nine years as an Investigator for the Securities and Exchange Commission.  He worked as a Market Surveillance Specialist in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, investigating numerous insider-trading cases, market manipulation cases and penny-stock frauds. He spent two years exclusively investigating Michael Milken and Drexel Burnham Lambert.  In addition, he worked as a Principal Investigator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.  


He graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from Boston University Graduate School of Management.
